The Parent Teacher Organization is an in house organization that consists of parents, teachers, and administrators who work together to raise money for student field trips, student tshirts bearing the famous Greater Johnstown Trojan logo, hold student book fairs, hold a mega event which is a carnival type atmosphere held in the school gymnasium, the student Santa Shop where students are able to purchase gifts at cost for their loved ones, and the organization also supports family-movie nights that are held periodically at the school in the evenings. The cost to join is $3.00 for a single person and $5.00 for a couple. Parents who want to volunteer in the school must obtain clearances and be school board approved. Our PTO welcomes new members and urge parents to be a part of the East Side Family. All events are posted on the main website.
