Physical Education

The most important goal is keeping every child healthy--mentally, physically and emotionally.  A competent (skillful) mover is more likely to be active for a lifetime. The goals prepare students to build physical activity skills for use in future grade levels.

Some of the activities the older students participate in are basketball, kickball, football, soccer, and The President Fitness Test.

The primary elementary students, such as Kindergarten, are engage with beanbag activities, basketball, tic-tac-toe and 5-pin bowling.

No matter the grade level or activity, the most important goal is proper sportsmanship, which is taught and modeled to all students

One of the biggest activities we contribute to is The Jump Rope or Hoops for Heart. Students raise money for the American Heart Association.  The 2014-15 school year was one of our best years for donations. Our goal for 2015-16 is to surpass the donations collected this past year.
